Sevadal

SEVADAL-The petals of the blossoming flower of selfless service.

A unique feature of the hospital is the loving and dedicated voluntary service rendered by the Sevadal belonging to the All India Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, coming from all over India, including the North East states.

Once Bhagawan asked the delegates to an international Cardiology conference at Prasanthigram as to what they felt was unique about the Sri Sathya Sai hospitals. Delegates replied “absence of a Billing Section in the hospital with the medical care completely free of cost”, “the hospital is a temple of healing”, “latest technology and equipments”, “the buildings are an archiectural marvel”. But Bhagawan in His inimitable way said, “The most remarkable feature of Sai Institutions is the SEVADAL, who out of love for Bhagawan, dedicate their time and energy and serve in a spirit of sacrifice.”

Sevadals are an integral part of the hospital manning each and every department of the hospital, from cleanliness to patient care. This has resulted in the hospital being run at very high levels of financial efficiency and work ethics.
